Recipe for Veal Loaf


3 lb veal, lean, ground
1 each egg, well beaten
2 tablespoon butter, melted
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1/2 cup stock


Mix all the ingredients together and moisten with the stock. Pack into a greased loaf pan. Dot with butter or other shortening and bake at 350-F for 1 hour. Serve hot or cold as desired.
