Recipe for All Meat Filling

Ingredients

2 1/2 tablespoon butter/oil
1 medium onion finely chopped
3/4 lb lean ground beef/lamb
1 salt and pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon gro; und allspice
1/3 cup pine nuts optional

Instructions

Heat the butter in a frying pan. Fry onions until transparent. Add the meat and fry it, tossing it and squashing with a fork, until it changes color. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and cinnamon and stir in the optional pine nuts. Moisten with a few tablespoons of water and cook gently, covered, until meat is very tender.
