3 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
1/2 cup butter/margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup milk
3 large eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 confectioners' sugar (opt)
Preheat oven to 375oF. Butter and lightly flour a 9"x13" pan. Set aside. In double boiler over low heat, melt chocolate. Stir until smooth; remove from heat. Cream butter and sugars in large bowl until light and fluffy. Blend in milk. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until well blended. Stir in melted chocolate. Fold in flour and chocolate chips, just until moistened.
Pour into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cool in pan before cutting into squares. Dust with confectioners' sugar, if desired.
