Recipe for Barnegat Light Tilefish


1 lb tilefish steaks; about 1-in thick
1/3 cup lo-cal italian dressing
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika


Place fish in shallow baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over fish. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes, turning once. Remove fish, reserve marinade for basting. Place fish on a lightly oiled grill, 4-6 inches from moderately hot coals. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Baste, turn and cook 4-5 minutes longer or just until fish flakes easily (Or microwave on high about 3 minutes. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving)
