Recipe for German Turkey Salad


1 lb turkey, thinly sliced into strips
3 each apples, peeled and cored
3 large gherkin pickles
10 each cooked, cooled potatoes
1 lemon juice
1 sugar
1 cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoon duesseldorf mustard
2 teaspoon tomato paste
2 tablespoon sour cream


Slice the apples, pickles and potatoes into strips and add turkey. Season with lemon juice and a little sugar. Toss to mix well. Meanwhile, add mayonnaise, mustard, tomato paste and sour cream together. Mix together and chill for at least 1 hour. Garnish with tomato wedges and quartered hardboiled eggs. Serves 6.
