Recipe for Tuna Turnovers


1 tablespoon chopped onion
4 oz can mushrooms, drained, reserving l; iquid
1/2 cup chopped pitted olives
2 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon flour
1 large clove garlic, crushed
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 6 1/2cn tuna fish, drained


: -Pastry for 2 crust pie

Saute onion, mushrooms, and olives in butter for 5 minutes. Stir in flour, garlic, salt, and reserved mushroom liquid; heat thoroughly. Add tuna and mix well; remove from heat. Preheat oven to 450. Roll out pastry. Cut into 2 1/2" circles. Place 2 tsp tuna mixture in cemter of each pastry circle. Fold pastry over; dampen edges to seal. Place on baking sheet; bake for 7 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven, and serve at once.
