Recipe for Scalloped Oysters


1 cup chopped mushrooms
1 cup cracker crumbs
1 1/2 pint oysters
1/2 cup light cream
1/3 cup butter
1 cup milk
1 paprika


Saute mushrooms in butter. Line bottom of greased casserole with 1/3 cup of crumbs. Add layer of mushrooms and dot with butter. Add layer of crumbs, then oysters, mushrooms and crumbs. Pour cream, milk and melted butter over top. Set in a pan of hot water and bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
