Recipe for Chicken With Creamy Mustard Sauce


1 1/2 cup water
5 single chicken breast halves; skin removed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cup chicken broth
3 oz pkg cream cheese; softened
1 each garlic clove; minced
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3 tablespoon dijon mustard
2 tablespoon honey
2 cup rotini (8 oz); cooked
2 tablespoon parsley; fresh chopped


Poach chicken. (Bring water to a boil in a large skillet. Add chicken, salt and pepper; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until chicken is fork tender and juices run clear.) Meanwhile, in blender container or food processor bowl with metal blade combine all sauce ingredients; blend until smooth. Pour mixture into medium saucepan; cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and is hot, stirring occasionally. To serve, place hot cooked rotini on serving plate. Top with chicken and sauce. Garnish with parsley.
