Recipe for Apple Custard Pie


2 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoon butter
2 cup apples; peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pie crust (9 inch)


combine egg yolks and sugar. Add butter, apples a water in double boiler, stirring constantly until thickened. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
