Recipe for Harvest Hamburger Casserole


1 lb lean ground beef, browned and drain; ed
1 cup onion, minced
1 can tomatoes with liquid, cut up (28 oz; .)
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
2 cup potatoes, sliced
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 pkg frozen corn, thawed (10 oz.)
1 pkg frozen lima beans, thawed (10 oz.)
1 each green pepper, cut into strips
1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (6 oz.)


In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, tomatoes with liquid, Worcestershire sauce, and salt. Spoon into a greased three quart casserole. Layer the potatoes, corn, lima beans, and green pepper on top. Bake, covered at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and continue baking, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Yield: 8 Servings
