Recipe for Scalloped Tomatoes


4 slice toast (buttered and sprinkled with; garlic salt)
1 teaspoon grated onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 can (2-1/2 cups) tomatoes
2 tablespoon butter


Butter toast with garlic salt and then cut into cubes. Add onion, salt, pepper to tomatoes. Place a layer of 1/2 the bread cubes in a greased 1 quart casserole, add tomatoes, top with remaining bread cubes. Pour 2 tbsp melted butter over top. Bake in 375F oven for 20-30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
