3 lb spareribs
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoon plum jam
1 tablespoon pale dry sherry
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Cut rack of spareribs into quarters; place in a shallow roasting pan. Combine all remaining ingredients. Pour over spareribs. Cover and marinate 2 to 3 hrs. Bake at 325 F for 1 hr, turning ribs frequently. Makes 4 servings as dinner, or 6 to 8 servings as part of a Chinese meal.
