4 large green peppers
1 dash salt
1 nonstick cooking spray
1 tablespoon ground sirloin or turkey
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
16 oz can tomatoes, chopped, undrained
1/2 cup long grain rice
1/2 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
3/4 cup grated, mozzarella cheese
Halve peppers lengthwise. Clean. Cook peppers in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and sprinkle insides with a little salt.
Spray a skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Cook hamburg or turkey and onion until onion is tender. Drain well.
Stir in tomatoes (undrained), uncooked rice, 1/2 c water, salt and pepper, worcestershire and oregano. Bring to a boil
Cover and simmer for 20 min or until rice is tender. Stir in 1/2 of the cheese.
Fill peppers with mixture.
Put in baking dish and bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with remaining cheese.
