Recipe for Cajun Style Broiled Halibut

Ingredients

2 tablespoon paprika (hungarian is best)
1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper to taste
4 (4-6 oz.) halibut steaks, thawed if; necessary

Instructions

Mix together all ingredients until well combined. Sprinkle approximately 1/2 teaspoon spice mixture over the surface of each halibut steak before broiling. Broil 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at thickest part, or until fish flakes when tested with a fork. Save remaining spice mixture in airtight container for future uses.
