Recipe for Veterans Chicken


1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup fresh garlic, pulverized
1/4 cup fresh ginger, pulverized
2 cup shoyu (soy sauce)
4 lb chicken thighs, trimmed


1. Combine the sugar, garlic, ginger and shoyu in a large bowl. Marinate the thighs for 1 to 2 hrs. Pat dry.

2. Cook over white- hot coals for about 30 mins or until tender, turning often.
