Recipe for Lime-Grilled Salmon Steaks With Tomato Avocado Salsa

Ingredients

4 each salmon steaks
1 teaspoon grated lime zest
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon jalapeno, minced
----TOMATO AVACADO SALSA----
1 each tomato, diced
1 each ripe avocado, peeled & diced
2 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 cup red onion, minced
1 teaspoon jalapeno, minced
2 tablespoon cilantro, chopped

Instructions

Marinate salmon steaks in remaining ingredients in shallow glass bowl at room temperature for 30min, or in the refrigerator for 1hr. Prepare barbecue and oil grill. Remove steaks to grill, reserving marinade, and grill over medium heat for approx. 10 min. or until salmon flakes easily when tested with a fork, turning once and basting with marinade halfway through cooking time. (follow same method to broil in oven on well-oiled broiling pan.)
