Recipe for Tagliatelle In Cream Sauce

250 gm wholemeal tagliatelle
15 gm butter
1 onions
125 gm creamed cottage cheese
1 tablespoon cream
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 freshly ground pepper
1/8 cup sliced green pimento
1 stuffed olives

Preparation: finely chop the onions

1. Cook the tagliatelle in a large quantity of boiling water until just cooked.

2. While the pasta is cooking melt the butter over a low heat. Add the onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the onion is soft. Do not allow the onion to brown.

3. Stir in the cottage cheese and cream. Cook over a low heat until the cheese has melted and is heated through. Add the parmesan cheese and the pepper. Stir well to combine the ingredients.

4. Drain the tagliatelle then place in a large bowl and add the sauce. Toss to combine.

Top with sliced olives and serve.
