Recipe for Chicken Wings Barbecued Indian-Style


16 chicken wings
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon cardamon, ground
1/4 teaspoon cumin, ground
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cloves, ground
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
1 salt to taste


Prepare marinade.

Prick 16 chicken wings all over with a fork or sharp knife and mix into the marinade, Leave at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. Grill gently, basting lavishly with excess marinade, until crust is partly browned and wings cooked.
