Recipe for Gin Punch


6 cup water
2 cup sugar
48 oz pineapple juice
48 oz grapefruit juice
8 oz cherries, maraschino; undrnd
2 cup gin
33 3/4 oz ginger ale; chilled


Combine water and sugar in a large saucepan; bring to a boil, and stir until dissolved. Cool.

Combine sugar mixture, juice, and cherries; chill. Add gin and ginger ale just before serving.
