Recipe for Strawberry-Banana Smoothie


2 cup unsweetened strawberries, fresh or; frozen, hulled
2 bananas; sliced
8 oz low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup rice bran
3 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon to 2 tb honey


Cover and freeze strawberries and sliced bananas until firm, about 4 hours or overnight. Combine all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Serve immediately in chilled glasses.
