Recipe for Barbecued Chicken And Beans


1 tablespoon canola oil
1 package about 1 pound barbecue-seasoned bon
-- chicken breasts
16 ounces baked beans
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
salt; to taste
ground black pepper; to taste


In large nonstick skillet, over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add chicken breasts; sauté 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Add beans, ketchup, sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Partially cover and simmer 5 minutes, until chicken is cooked through. Serve hot.

Makes 4 servings. Preparation time: about 5 minutes. Cooking time: About 13 to 15 minutes.
